Hi, I'm a new member, to the forum, my name is Les but I'm usually known as Banjo, I am having an issue with my electrics, lights, on my 1987, 207D, motorhome, I know where the fuse box is located but there is no indication of the correct fuse ratings or which fuse covers which circuit, I was wondering if anyone could help me ? thanks in anticipation, Banjo.

Hi Banjo, I can't help you with your electrics but welcome to the forum. There will no doubt be someone along very shortly that can assist in your hour of distress :)

Thanks Andy, it's actually doing my head in, I had a top nearside marker light out, I had no positive supply to it and there was no way to get one to it, other than to run one , inside the van, from the offside, which was working fine, since doing this, I now have no top front markers at all and the front and rear offside sidelights, no longer work, I've checked the fuses and one is blown but it looks to be historical (dirty) rather than fresh, I replaced the fuse with one of the same rating (8amp) and it's blown again, I'm afraid to replace it with higher rating , in case I cause further damage, I can't see why this would happen, as I haven't really done anything, to cause it, that I can see. Banjo.

Hi and welcome.
First rule of trouble shooting : undo what ever you did to break it. In your case disconnect the top markers and see what happens. If that fixes it theres where to start looking.

Thanks Lostkiwi, already backtracked, got the original lights working again, just the top nearside to deal with, the problem is, with it being a motorhome, all the wiring is behind panels and not accessible, the MOT is booked in for Tuesday, I just rang them and found out that the top marker lights are not compulsory, the pressure is off

Hi Les, I've got an ancient MB 207 ring binder workshop manual ... somewhere.

I could look at the circuit diags, or even sell it to you.
