Hello and welcome to the forum. A bit late I know, but got to agree with most of the comments here. Had lot of niggles with my W215 and still got a few to attend to. Don't agree with ABC pump price, my Merc dealer could do S/ex for just under £500. I sent mine to Germany for overhaul at 420 Euro's. Rekitted front ABC valve ( Craig's seal Kit ) £50. Small speakers in front doors £40. Loads of other bits and bobs so you can keep the costs down and you know what .......... I just love driving it...

Good luck and enjoy the CL

Can't say anything complimentary about American field games, took our rugby and called it football, took our rounder's and called it base ball, took our football and called it soccer ( boring game ... they keep stopping ). Rugby .... proper game ... can't wait for 6 nations every year ( I'm incommunicado for six weeks with my Ale ... Not Coor's, Budd or Coke )

To be fair, WE called it soccer. The Edwardians had a penchant for shortening and then putting -er at the end of various nouns. Association Football became Assoc. became soc-er. Rugby Football became Rugby became Rugger.

Hello Craig ... not with you on that one I'm affraid ... I'm not Edwardian and if I went into a pub and asked them " can I watch the soccer?" whilst a football match was on you can guess what would happen

We called it soccer in NZ too. Footie was played with an egg shaped ball.

Point is, the term dates from around the turn of the 20th century and it originated here.

Neither am I but I certainly know the game as either football or soccer. Just because the USA mothers appropriated the word (soccer moms) does not mean the word loses meaning here.
