I just upgraded the alloys on my w124 coupe from the standard 8 hole 15 inch to the 16 inch versions, however the bolts wont fit the new wheels as they're not long enough. Does anybody know the length of bolts i require, and where possibly i might be able to get them in london??
Ive been told that they are a special type of tapered fitment, and also that if i get bolts too long they will damage the hubs.
Thanks
ash

These are the bolts you need.

Set of 20 bolts (5 per wheel for 4 wheels) RAD part number: 4143 Shaft Length/mm: 39 Thread pitch: M12x1.5 Drive type: 17mm Seat type: 12mm radius Fitment: Mercedes 107/124/126/129/168/170/171/201/202 203/208/209/210/414

You can get them from the dealer, eBay, or somewhere like below
http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/option/bolt_packs

If you do get them from eBay, make sure they are radius seat not tapered, and you want M12x 1.5 17mm head and 39/40mm long

Something like these

Ah. Think I have a whole wheel set of those and locking studs kicking about in the garage. Probably got a whole set of the standard MB ones too.
I'll take a look later today when/if I attempt fitting new springs and shocks.:p
