Need help , code 10/17

Limit switch left side window down Circuit in power soft top control module, solenoid valve, roll bar retracted. ?????
Anyone one know what the above means.
Car a 500sl r129 1990, driver window will not work.

Its a code reader box i bought from malcolm.

Yes but which pin was it connected to? For example on the 38 pin diagnostic plug the ABS module is pin 6, soft top 21 etc.
The soft top doesn't have a code 17 according to my notes.

The 16 pin diagnostic plug , number 10 on that came back with 17 lights and in the code book, if you look, come back with the above. 10 is soft top.
The thing is i am not trying to open the soft top, not touched the button its got the hard top on BUT driver window button will not work.
