New brake pads on sl

the warning sign as come up says brake wear ,so going to sort out new pads
Do they have a sensor on each pad as it don't tell you which ones gone,and once new ones fitted does it have to go on star to remove warning ,thanks peps

Probably one sensor on front pads and one on the rear pads . The sensor light will go out when new sensor is connected ...no need for star . If you get the pads from MB they will come with the correct sensors (numbers of ) .

Been a while but I remember one sensor per axle as Wighty (my memory is awful!!)- I had EBC Red stuff on my SL which I rated very highly with minimal dust- otherwise as Wighty says for originals or MB Grangemouth
