New Member, going to be GLC owner soon & got a question on VIN

Hiya all,

Am going to pick up my Merc GLC 350e in 2-3 weeks and got my VIN 2 days ago form my dealer. now I would like to decode it and get the details. How can I do that, all leads are appreciated. Thanks.

If it's a new car the decoders won't work. Can take a while for everything to be updated.

Yes its a new one. I was hoping to decode to see model is 2018 and not 2017 as I was promised (sales guys can play at times you know) and to check in time that everything is as I ordered to avoid any surprises later on. Any other way to validate ?

Ask the dealer for a copy of your car’s order code, sometimes known as end item number. That will detail every option.

Ask the dealers to provide you with their order on MB, I haven’t done this with MB tbh but did it with Volvo for the same reasons you mention
