The SL has a little light in the light switch that tells you when the lights are on, however, you have to look down by your knees to see it, so not terribly useful

The W215 does not have a green light for lights on.

I'm sure our W203 has nothing to say the lights are on. Unless its high beam of course when the little blue light comes on.

Its a bit of a trap too - if the stalk is in the high beam position when the auto lights decide to turn on anyone coming the other way will get a face full of high beam!
