Hi all
I'm a cameraman, I needed a massive boot for my gear so I've just bought a 2005 E220 CDI Avantagrde Estate Auto
Jumping from my VW Passat the steering seems really heavy is that the case?
On the motorway it feels fantastic, but I was just negotiating an underground car park and I had to put a fair bit of effort in to right the wheel after hard locks (relative to the Passat) - is this normal?
Also, it feels like it ever so slightly pulls to the left although again it may just be following the road a bit more - it's pretty marginal after driving it for the first day…
I may get the tracking checked, tyre pressure will be done 1st thing tomorrow…
Any advice on this model and age especially on the steering query greatly appreciated!!
PS Any good Merc friendly garages in Bristol that can be recommended for general servicing/parts?
