I think you’ll find it’s the dull owners forum, I beg your pardonDidn’t realise this was the dull men’s club. Thought it was an owners forum.
Any tips or secrets for the vinyl on the chrome? I've had a go in the past with mixed results
The grill does look good as does the flat bonnet badge , but I'm not sure about the badge on top of the grill being so close to the bonnet badge ? It looks a bit "busy" having the two so close together (paint the grill badge black?) . Other than that well done

I’m considering lowering it a little. It looks too tall from the rear in my opinion.
With less travel you have less of an ability to absorb the bumps in the road?, surely this is a symptom of any car that has been lowered? Or from what you are doing, do you still have the same amount of travel? The ride quality isn’t effected per se. The lowering links don’t change the air suspension system, they just sit the car lower to the ground.
I’m not a mechanic but, from what I understand you’re not changing any kind of stiffness, shock absorption etc you are just lowering the car. The same amount of air is in the airbags etc. With less travel you have less of an ability to absorb the bumps in the road?, surely this is a symptom of any car that has been lowered? Right ok, neither am I by any stretch of the imagination. The stock car does seem to ride high, but I suppose it was designed to do a different job to the C class?I’m not a mechanic but, from what I understand you’re not changing any kind of stiffness, shock absorption etc you are just lowering the car.
