Hi,

I have '91 190E 2.0 Auto. Just a couple of days ago the
temparature was a little high. I put this down to the car being parked for 6 weeks whilst I was away so I has the water flushed and changed adding coolant.

However, this morning I noticed that the heating is not working.

What's gone wrong?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

You've got an airlock by the sounds! When the last coolant was flushed/drained then refilled, were the heater controls set to HOT (i.e. water valve full open).
Try warming up/idling the engine with the heater on full and the expansion tank top off, knead the top/lower hoses and see if that clears it.Don't run it on the road with the cap off!
A co incidental problem may also be your thermostat stuck open.

may sound obious, but most folks get a leak after flushing and putting in new coolant.
check your coolant is still there and topped up.
