Just for a change, 2010 Porsche 987 Boxster with a coolant leak behind the nearside front wheel. Now, it's usually the radiators rotted out on the older 986 model, but Porsche have really broken the mould this time...
There are a pair of transversely mounted aluminium coolant pipes that run just in front of the steering rack. Porsche have used radiator hoses with a mild steel Henn type connector pushed into the aluminium pipe. Differing metals lead to corrosion. Requires the front subframe to be dropped to replace the pipes. Not too big a job, but really this should never have happened. Rubbish quality parts.
