Sh one t.

Whilst butchering my engine I bust all the oil breather lines.

There are ****** 12 of them, into the intake manifold.

I ordered some new pipes, along with new TC and sump plugs. They phoned me back and telt me that my order came to £101!!!!!!

I cancelled the order.

Right then, my situation is thus: I have a ferry ticket and a camping trip round Ireland as of this weekend, what the fook am I going to do?

My options are:
1) Leave the holes open on the intake manifold and leave the oil breather open.
2) Plug all the holes on the intake manifold.
3) Plug all the holes on the manifold and pipe the breather down to under the sump.
4) Plug most of the holes but bodge the remaining pipework from the breather into the manifold.

5) Loads of similar things............

I had planned to show the car off and prove what a superb vehicle it is, now I'm worried I might be hitch-hiking.

Please help.

I can't picture 12 breather pipes on the inlet manifold. I've had a few of these off to do glow plugs (not for a while mind) & my minds gone blank. Any piccys??

I don't have any pics of my engine, but this is one of the turbocharged version of the 606.

On the N/A version the black breather pipe splits of and goes to each inlet port. Yes, 12 of them!

The black pipework is incredibly brittle and falls to bits under the slightest provocation

Even if the impossible was to happen and I shelled out on new pipework, it would not be here in time. I am going to HAVE to bodge it somehow for the next two weeks!
