Don't be a victim.

'A car was stolen in Leicester as its driver got out to shut a gate.
The man drove out of Leicester Engineering Services at around 1945 BST on Saturday when he got out to close the front gates on Scudamore Road.
He left the engine of the silver Mercedes Benz E270 running but another man got in the car and drove it off.
The vehicle was found abandoned a short time later in the Murrayfield Road area but a black ipod phone had been stolen from it.'

We all do it. We jump out to open or shut our gates, or to ring the buzzer on electric gates or open the garage or get something from the boot. They are watching, more than ever in this toilet of a country with it's carefully hidden ' real " rate of crime. They will be in before you can even shout hoy.

He's very lucky to get it back, as I doubt if the insurance company would have paid out in these circumstances.

Interesting with my car as I always use the keyless go,, if they threw me out of the car or took it in the above circumstances they would have problems:p

And of course we now have the frosty mornings. Those few seconds whilst you pop round the back to scrape the rear window whilst the engine is ticking over. A couple of years back, North West police forces reported 8 cars going in one morning when the owners left them , all be it briefly , with engines running on their drives as they cleared the windows.
