P2263 error code

Good afternoon all,

I have got p2263 error code and no boost. Car is in limp mode with engine management light on.

This fault came up just after buying the car and I sprayed some wd40 in the transducer and it started working again for last 2 months so got a new one and kept it in the car till it needed changing.
Well the fault came back yesterday and I stopped and changed the transducer and cleared fault code but has come straight back on again with no boost and in limp mode. I am getting no more than 9in/hg on vacuum/boost side under maximum revs and under driving I haven't seen it go above 6in/hg.

Any suggestions?
I cover 62 miles a day in it to get to work and back on b roads and it has 140,000 on the clock.

Sorry I mean no more than -9in/hg at 4000rpm stationary and no more then -6in/hg when driving

At what point does the car go into limp mode?
