I have a 2014 B class which has 205/55/R16 tyres on it. Michelin on the back and Pirelli on the front.
I was in Brugge recently and managed to scuff the side of the tyre and cause a puncture. All sorted now, thanks to Nationwide Building Society Flex Account cover, we were 'recovered' and taken to a tyre fitting place, on the road again in 2.35 hours.
It got me thinking, in all my many many years abroad travelling with and without a caravan, I have never had a puncture and I carried a spare. now I have no spare, just the kit, i have a puncture!
However, looking on ebay, I cannot be sure what spacesaver wheel and tyre to get.
Many of the sites say the tyre is for a 245, but then you get on and it says w246. I need to make sure the nut spacings are correct and the tyre is the right size (although they do all say 10% tolerance is allowed).
Can anyone help with the correct part number please?
Thank you
