Passenger airbag turns off , no fault code....

Occasionally a dash warning message comes on that the passenger airbag has disconnected (seat occupied and seat belt on) and the centre console light shows the airbag is off. Happens during a journey, and once on usually stays on until end of journey/significant 'engine off, key out' stop.
No fault code shows.
Have not conducted the acid test.....
Any ideas?

Not sure the technical term, but the pics show the 'message' - a few minutes apart - and the centre console status light.

I have looked it up - Google is my friend!
While the passenger is most definitely adult she only weighs a bit over 7 stone (98 UK lbs, 46kg) If that is close to the sensor setting I can understand why the circuit will kick in..... Dealership consulted

OK, so the passenger seat will only turn OFF the airbag if it detects a sensor in a child seat. In all other scenarios the airbag will remain active, but may fire with different intensity depending on the weight of the person sitting in it. It will also not fire at all if nobody is sitting in the seat, but wont give a message on the dash.

Is the message on your dashboard white text, or yellow text?
