please Help Got A Merc E240 Year 2000 6 Monts Ago.everything Was Fine Until Today.when Engine Hits 85-90 It Cuts The Petrol Or Something And Goes Off.i Thought It Immobiliser Went To Diagnostics Computer Shows No Faults In The System. Any Ideas What That Could Be And How That Could Be Fixed.thanks In Advance Help Is Very Needed

Thats a good hit Star, they do suffer from temperature problems and failure


£45 from Bosch double that from MB

No you can spend £46 with Bosch or £95 with MB the choice is yours

All Bosch service have them, if you have a multi meter you could measure it when faulty good = 1kΩ when bad (hot) 99kΩ

I am quite happy to pick one up in Russia for you if you will pay the fare

It is a reason for the engine to stop when warm and then start again after 10 mins, I test them by putting into hot water and watch the meter when it goes open circuit

At least 20 cars this year fixed with this fault

it did not start in 10 min i have to wait for abot half hour before it runs again for a few miles. is that posible to changit myself or i have to bring it to the garage?

Only one bolt to take out on the rear of the engine and un plug it, put the new one in, do up the bolt and plug in the cable plug.
