Just a quick heads up for anyone in the North West really. I've been going to these for a few years now, as have another one or two on here. Whilst it states "Supercar" in the title, all seem to be welcomed. Not a bad breakfast to be had either. :)

It's a monthly meet, every month without fail irrespective of the weather conditions and always the Second to last Sunday of each month. The blurb states Sports, Super, Exotic, Kit and GT cars, though I've been there in allsorts of stuff. :) I'll be taking the white one tomorrow as the battery needs a bit of a charge.

    The Phantom Winger
    398 Garstang Rd
    Fulwood, Preston
    PR3 5JE

9:30am until 12pm at this time of year, earlier in the Summer months

Hope to see you there Dave, but come down with a clearly fatal dose of man 'flu and my man- uping skills are rapidly diminishing...

Amazing to see the meeting packed out yesterday so late in the year. Some great MBs there as well - CL500, a couple of C63's, two E63's, an SL55(?) and an SLS- and I probably missed one or two. Hope the weather is good for the December meet .

Just being daft for a minute but is March meet on 18th then? If so, I may have the new motor by then and it;s not too far from me :)

This month's is on the 18th as, coincidentally, is the March one. Always the penultimate Sunday of the month, the exception being the one in December last year which moved back a week as nobody fancied Christmas Eve. :)

ETA: Just seen what you've got on order, I'll be in mine this month (if I decide to go), but may be in the Cosworth in March, depends if I can get it back on the road in time.

Sadly can't attend this month as (a) having op on my foot on the weekend so won't be walking for a couple of weeks and (b) looks a bit lame turning up in a Nissan Navara! ;-)
Maybe March then. Oh and Daveenty, I used to own a Cosworth Sapphire back in the day. Nice family car that!

I’m going to try to get to the next 2 if I can escape, so might see you there
Oh and Daveenty’s cossie is a 190, what else? ;)

Sorry to hear about your foot, hope it gets better soon. A Navara would probably not be out of place to be honest, there's allsorts of stuff attending usually. As long as it's not the one which snaps the chassis...

As John mentioned, mine's a 190E Cosworth. Never officially recognised as that, though it's what everyone refers to them as. :)

It's officially a 190E 2.5-16. It's still up in the air in my little garage whilst I'm slowly cleaning up the underside, though it's an ongoing struggle as my right arm isn't working properly at the moment, so it's taking a lot longer than it should be. :(

During the summer John you have to get there before 9 otherwise you'll struggle to park. (Less busy at start of season) Most have gone by 12 but food at PW is quite acceptable! Hope to see you there, but we could easily be snowed in up here at this time of year.:)

Thanks Peter- I had intended getting there for 8 on the basis of getting parked up and getting some breakfast with my 6yo lad before the ‘proper’ start- think that’s early enough or will I still struggle?

You'll struggle to get breakfast. PW only opens its doors at 9! I'd leave it another 30/40 mins otherwise your youngster will be bored rigid..

Great advice thanks! My youngster will get bored rigid anyway tbh- I’ve taken him to a few other breakfast meets and it’s the breakfast which interests him only- trawling round cars however impressive, does not impress him! It’s usually ‘can we go now’ as soon as we arrive!
I’m not selling this to myself am I?:p

Funny how kids react differently. Ms Pete's grand daughter age 6 attended the event last year and she was asking people to move so that she could get better piccies of some cars on her phone. All the signs of a petrol head just like her mother and grandmother.

Jesus didn’t realise it was breakfast time meet. I think it’s an hour for me so 830am, when a round of golf is not involved, is going to be tough!
