decided to have a look inside the back boxes on the 216 this aft with a view to modding the internals to extract more noise from the lush V8 , was quite shocked to find this set up !
not a great pic but gives you the idea , its got a U bend like this for the inlet and then one from the tailpipe , so its doesn't flow out , it has to find its way , I plan to use stainless flexible couplings welded in to give a straight thru effect and noise to match
