R129 7-slats grille

Hi guys,

My boyfriend had a car accident and he broke the front grille of R129 SL....

His birthday is in a month and I am secretly searching the grille for him...because he was so down when he came back with the dent on the grille.

I did a bit of research. His one has 7 slats rather than 6 slats. I think it is a version difference?

Also I searched eBay, amazon, internet etc but hasn't been successful in finding the grille or used-grille.:cry:

If I can, I want to give him the original version and want to surprise him...

It would be great if you can help me finding one! Please!!

If not too bad you can buy the slats new.

Hi, I have a similar problem with my SL320 (Year 2000). I see from 'televisions' post above that you can buy the slats separately....Are these available from the dealer? I only need one slat replacing and so this would be an ideal fix ! Thanks.

Yes they are numbered, and the dealer will work out the one that you need
