R230 Window Problems

My SL 350 had a failed EIS which I have replaced with a new unit programmed to the car from one of the mail order places. Engine start, immobilizer, remote door locking now work fine but other problems have appeared. Drivers window works perfectly from its switch but passenger window does not respond to drivers door switch. Switch on passenger door operates the drivers window instead of the passenger window! Any ideas what could be causing this? The SRS light has also come on but I’m assuming this might be the connector under the seat from the seat movement to get to the EIS. Any help much appreciated.

Complete guess but what you say about the windows sounds like a mix up between left and right hand drive.
