I have an r class 320 and the footwell vent blows all the time no matter which direction switches are set.
Air blows to the screen and sides as it should.
I thought it might be the linkage or stepper motor as it seems a common problem, but when I set it to defog it goes to the screen as it should and it stops blowing in the footwells.
So I assume the motor and linkage is ok.
Any ideas? Could it be as simple as the button or is there more to it than that.
