Hello all.
I'm a recent convert to the delights and pains of this amazing brand. I've never earnt enough to by new, but actually there's a love for the older late nineties to middle naughties. I've brought a 2002 CL500 for stupid money but of course inherited all the downers that come with it.
I love my mad car, my VIN number? WDB2153752A030798 I've only just recently learnt how to dispyher it, and the 'Sweden' part is slightly confusing but unlike my cars colour I hope to make my own greenness and willingness to learn a good part of my free time . This forum has already helped loads in reading what others say. There's an amazing wealth of knowledge within, so thanks and hope to be useful in the future to you in return.

Cheers.

Thanks for your greetings, sorry, my sig name is an affectionate term someone called me, (I should have thought about it more really, oops) I'm perfectly harmless really. I did wonder about the Swedish connection to my car, especially having DRL'S as well, it's a right hand drive car, are you wondering the same as myself? I've got a massive list of things to do, including a new set of decent tyres. I've probably spent over a grand already, but dodgy rip off garages has caused a big chunk of that.
Anyway.... It's only money, (that I don't have.. Ha)

Welcome.
Dodgy rip off garages. They see you coming with a car like that unfortunately. Get a garage you trust.
Have fun

I know, one was a recommendation from some one I worked with , very awkward after that, I'm in Bristol UK There are loads around, but I'm adventurous for lots of jobs it's inevitable that I will need a garage at some point.

It's gonna be a long road I know already, but I'm up for it. We need to keep these motors alive, wish I had an SEC really. Spotted a beauty in Bournemouth last week.

Thanks John,
Much appreciated info. Would you know about the Swedish location info? It's interesting why it went there first. It's a great car, I've mostly had Jaguar before and it was a spur of the moment thing to buy it, I had a moment of panic at first, but have really grown to love it now. There's a big list of things to do, but I'm trying to find the courage and end to do lots myself.

Thanks again.
