Ive recently brought a 2003 ML270 and it’s got the big chrome spare wheel holder on the back. Yesterday I changed the rear springs as both were snapped. However having a read through the depths of this forum apparently it’s meant to have stiffer rear springs with the spare wheel holder....
Does it really make a difference? It drives perfect and doesn’t feel any different to before. And I’m guessing the updated springs are a Mercedes only part?
