I need some of those round pads for applying Collonite 476S super double wax.
I ordered some microfibre ones like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231939861002?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Any good current links appreciated.
I did look at some soft foam pads ... but some looked jolly agressive .. so chickend out wnd went for the soft microfibre ones in the end. Is that better? Or worse?
From what I read its a good idea to do this on a warm day i.e warm metal in the sun, and put it on jolly thinly.
Any tips welcome, never used this before.
Plan was mainly as ai have this stuff:-
to wash it with autoglyms ph neutral car wash
Clay with Magquires smooth clay kit .. using the detailer spray
Polish with autoglyms super resin polish to fill any swirl marks
Apply this Collonite stuff.
Hopefully works well with a silver car, and will protect it for 3 or so months.
Currently using 2 coats of Autoglyms SRP and then their Super Gloss, gets a good enough finish for me , but despite using a ph neutral car wash; it only stays slippery for 3 or 4 washes. Circa one month.
