Hi all,

We have been offering and successfully supplying Remaps for many years now before it became a service many places offer. Many companies offering it don't have a clue about what they are supplying, know what they change when they do it or even how to fix a problem if they ever encountered one :shock:

Anyhow, Replacementmercedeskeys are proud to announce that we are able to do a fantastic "January only" price of £199 ( And this is for any car, so if you have a Vauxhall Zafira family wagon thats fine!)

We can do an ECO map which is a small increase in power and torque but provides the best MPG results, or a Performance map which obviously give you the biggest increase in power and torque but sacrifices the best MPG results!

I don't really like quoting power figures for cars, A typical power increase (On a healthy car) is around 20-30bhp on Diesels and 8-15bhp on Petrol cars but all cars are different!

Before all remaps the car will be given a diagnostic check - If its a Mercedes with STAR, any other makes with a Dealer level tool so we can be sure that there are no underlying problems! This service is usually around £65 but with all Remaps is FREE!:lol:

If anyone is interested, Drop us a PM HERE or send me an email - Mark@replacementmercedeskeys.co.uk

Happy New Year!

A few.
What difference to the fuel economy on a W202 CD250 TD would you expect to see if you went for the "map which is a small increase in power and torque but provides the best MPG results"?

Hi,

As explained above, Its quite hard to estimate MPG because there are alot of variable such as driving style, Health of car, cetane rating of fuel etc etc Plus I don't know how much you get now!

Ill go on previous jobs for example.

Mercedes Sprinter 318CDi (V6 185bhp) Uprated to 215bhp and a torque increase of 60nm. Previous MPG was 24/25 after remap was 27/28 But its driven steadily and most of the time on the motorway.

I will never quote numbers when it comes to MPG as I could be called a liar or misquoted in the future!

Yes very true re the MPG for when the car has been re mapped the car is normally quicker than it was, in order to benefit you must drive the car as it was before the re map, but in practice no one does.:D

Remaps increase power. If one uses the power one uses more fuel.

End of...

It's not rocket science ...
