Returning to AMG

Hello from West Sussex

After an E55 and a C32, I have bought a C43 ... a brilliant wolf in sheeps clothing !

While looking for the AMG I bought a '93 2.0 manual 190E ... which for totally opposite reasons, I can't decide which I enjoy best.

I plan to take each to this years Silverstone Classic, one on the Friday and one on the Sunday.

Cracking car the C43, though I,m obviously a bit bias
What spec colour is the new beast? Is it registered 2000, or a 2000 model, as the 2000 model is a rather a rare beast, only about 50 built IIRC.
Any pics?

Thanks for your welcoming emails.

I have yet to take any photo's of the C43 ... I've been concentrating working on getting it to a baseline level in order I can be happy wih its apperance and confident that I can jump in it at any time without any fear that things are about to fall off, fail or are overdue for change.

So far the following works have been done.

Rear bumper re-sprayed
Paintless dent removal on all doors and wings
Bodywork mopped
Engine bay hand cleaned
Brakes overhauled, including fluid change
Engine oil and filter changed
Gearbox oil and filter changed, including leaking electrical connector replaced
Differential oil changed
Air filters changed
Pollen filter changed
Air mass sensor replaced
`V' belt and tension idle pulley replaced
Coolant replaced
Tyres replaced
Second remote/slide key
Replacemnt OSF foglight ... yet to install
Wheels refurbished to a design of `Anthracite' faces with `Silver' lips
Headlight bulbs replaced with Osram `Nightbreakers'
Number plates replaced, including `AMG' surround holders
Missing sill trim fixings fitted

Nearly there !!
