The S class is more complicated than the CLK and the MPG will be a little worse,,you will get some replies later

They are great cars,,and I love them,,but the suspension can be expensive if it fails, just like on my car. we have another post on this tonight. If you have a good reserve fund then my all means

S class
The only real problem with the S class is the rusty body work... it will just be beginning to fall apart round now... other problems ...instrument cluster...some were replaced under recall but not all ..and the airmatic suspension pump around £300 to buy but should last 100K + miles... seats can be a bit uncomfortable after arounf 100K as well..

If you are going for an S-Class you would be better off with a diesel version. I went from Glasgow to Edinburgh and back today and averaged 46mpg

thats the one that caught my eye

these would make all the differance http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MERCEDES-BENZ...ar_Wheels_ET?hash=item2ea8f0b8d5#ht_720wt_912 As others have said no sat nav and not diesel, but it's the right price and very good mileage.
