I've just solved a faulty tailgate lock and now onto the next problem!

When cold, my car with 105,000 miles on it has a slight vibration at about 40 MPH and 1500-2000 RPM. This is particularly noticeable when cruising downhill. A slight touch on the accelerator reduces it. At all other speeds the car is very smooth. After about 20 to 30 min all is well. Three of the tyres were recently changed and had no effect. ATF and filter also changed as the gear changes were getting hesitant.
Not too worried but it may be indicative of troubles to come.

Slip the car into neutral whilst moving and let the revs drop down, the vehicle will still coast along.

Does it still do it ?

Torque converter ?

No it didn't and in fact has been slightly better today. The road I was on was not the smoothest so I'll try again if I'm out tomorrow.
