Welcome!

Great choice of car and congratulations on achieving your goal after all those years

I’ve owned mine for 13 years and nearly parted with it a couple of years ago and so glad I didn’t, nothing comes close for load lugging and driver enjoyment in my eyes

A really fine car. Mine is 15 in January and cannot be beaten as a workhorse. It is currently in Spain and I must pick it up in January, so I look forward too another fine ride home !

nice, its is indeed a brilliant car and with the amount of gadgets its has. mine doesn't show rust but I need to replace the mueller soon as its a bit rusty but no wholes on it, and no funny noises. I will tray and do so maintenance myself like, oil change, filters. and some clips. so far I have fixe a regulator and the courtesy lights, a 15A fuse, cabin air filter, a few clips from the rear tailgate trim, and some clips from the drivers and passages door trim. so far notting major didn't spend more that 70£. There is something I don't know what I should do, some of the windows rubber have some green moulds and moss, any advice

Green moss can be removed using white vinegar or Milton's sterilising fluid.

Hi guys, I know it’s topic is not related to th question I was going to ask but here it goes, I have been looking online for the best engine oil for my e320 cdi yr 2000, and I’ve seen many stating 5w40 and some 10w40, Mobil 1, and some castrol, my car has 147k I don’t mind to pay extra for a good oil and filter obvious “Mann” filter. Any advices?! Thanks

Any oil conforming to MB229.51 spec is what it should have. Outside that viscosity is to a certain extent down to choice....
I generally prefer a 0w40 oil
