hi guys. After the third time getting the dpf cleaned I have been told that the dpf is damaged and it also comes up on star, it has affected acceleration and hardly picks up engine light is also on, turbo was replaced last year and has been checked again and is fine,Are these characteristics of blocked dpf?
Instead of spending a fortune replacing we have decided for the dpf delete, so car has been booked in with msl next week. So fingers crossed will sort out the problem.

Sorry for the late reply, it's been around a month now since dpf delete and remap, it has totally changed the characteristics of the car has so much more pulling power and is so responsive, still have the problem with car consuming way too much oil so hope it's not a major problem which merc think it is so I'm getting a few more opinions from other indies, fingers crossed

Hi mickbee. The dpf delete and remap was done by msl, you will find plenty about them guys on the forum. Regarding the oil consumption unfortunately just had enough and ended up trading the car in with a dealer at the end of November. Definitely recommend dpf delete.

Did you have the oil consumption problem before the DPF delete or did it start after?
cheers Mick

It was drinking oil before the dpf delete. i was convinced that the oil consumption was down to poor installation of a newly reconditioned turbo. Just eneded up giving up and paying mechanics to investigate
