Thanks for all your advice on this chaps (and chapesses). I have bottled it and gone for selenite grey metallic instead.

Also decided against using the dealership detailing service. A quick google search showed a relatively local detailing placed called Bellissimoto, which has excellent feedback and seems to be competitively priced.
