SL55 AMG on Junkyard Empire

Monday 24th April Discovery HD at 21:00 Junkyard Empire have an SL55 that they are resurecting. I haven't seen this show before but anything with an SL is worth watching IMO.

I watched the show, not impressed. Was a bit of a bodge repair ln the wiring loom. I wouldn't have paid $70k for it.

You didnt miss much, they basically did a bodge repair on a burnt out bit of wiring loom in the boot and added a widebody kit and sprayed it orange.

I estimate there was about 7 minutes of SL55 material the rest was yankee hype and padding,nice looking car though,but 75k you must be joking ,the guys who put it together work in a scrap yard for heavens sake

I did love the part where they just found a relay missing and made a bridge with a pair of long nose pliers. Yeah right......that's a normal fix........

I'm glad I watched this on catch up. Took about 5 mins. A rubbish programme (IT'S NOT A SHOW, there's no singing or dancing sorry, personal old git favourite rant) and a horrible looking car. Sold to my mate for $75000. Yeah right. I'll never download this again
