SL600 Adaptive Damping System

Having just purchased an SL600 I have encountered a couple of problems as you do with second hand cars and sellers who do not disclose known faults!

After driving the car for about 20 minutes the adaptive damper warning light come on. I don't actually notice any difference with the handling when the light is on. When I stop and turn the engine off and then re-start the light is not on. Then after about 20 minutes or so it come on again!

Does anone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

check the abc fluid level, could be that simple!!!
