Sliding passenger seat - broken?

I have an intermittent issue with the passenger seat on my 2011 E250 Cabriolet.

At the moment its flying backwards taking out any shins that are in its way. It used to 'remember' where it was last moved to, and would not go past it when one used the back seats. I do not have memory seats.

Does anyone have a diagram of this seat? I can't see anything broken, so have probably bent or stretched something.

Is this a common issue - is there a quick fix?

Also any recommendations for garages / independent / mobile Mercedes mechanics, for the south west Essex region.

Yep . As LK above says . Alex is your man in Stowmarket . Clive at Benzworx near Maldon Essex is an option as well .
