Slighly lower on rear left side

Hello, I have noticed the car is slightly lower on the rear left hand side, about 1cm give or take. Stupidly even though we had the rear wheels off today I did not inspect or measure the springs. Anyway, assuming there are no broken springs, can it be the shock absorbers in the back causing this? Or what else?

Only the springs dictate the height of a car, you could remove the shockers and it won't change the height!!!! A broken spring is common!!!!

The springs are separate from the shocks, on the rear.

Can they be replaced without too much hassle? I have noticed some blue and while (or was it blue and red) markings on them.

Would it be wise to also change the shocks while we are at it ? (65K miles)
