Just looks like dirt to me also. Some Autoglym leather cleaner, then treat with the leather cream.

MB cars of 1950s 60s 70s and probably 1980s were class acts, not now. The Artico on my CLK is disintegrating at only 75k miles and there have been electrical problems. Is there anybody out there who can make leather look like Artico?

I'm no expert in leather, but the leather in my car is way better than my brothers XC60, much nicer to sit on. Also, someone said that, if you look after the leather it will last. My car is great, the only area of wear is on the right drivers bolster. The back seats look like new.

Yet strangely, no one on this site is saving up for a Nissan Primera. Mercedes Benz continue to make highly desirable cars. Our cars are wildly more efficient, much less prone to rust and still distinctive on the road. It's true that some craftsmanship has gone out of modern production, there's compromise everywhere. I know people are constantly saying that Bentleys aren't what they used to be either. But we're very lucky to be enjoying these fine toys, I'm very proud of mine.
