Went out with a friend to a function 10 miles away in his 6 month old C220 estate. Entered postcode then waited about 15 seconds before we got a route.
Coming home we had to divert round one street, & again another 15 seconds to re calculate the route.
My 2011 E class & my wife's TomTom are both considerably quicker.
Is this normal on the C200?

We noticed the Sat Nav of my friends 2017 SLK was slower than his old E-Class and my C-Class. It wasn't just calculation times though, rather it'd often give directions when they are almost too late. I.e. instructed to keep left and the like at the last second, leading to less than smooth driving at times.

So, not sure if it's normal or not, but we certainly observed slow performance on my friends SLK not long after he picked it up. I'll need to check with him to see if it ever got resolved, perhaps via a simple software update.

Talk to comand.co.uk, they'll tell you what the problem is and if there's a fix MB should apply to such a new car!
