Hi,

Just a quick one. When releasing the handbrake, you can feel the handbrake release but the light does not switch off until multiple pulls of the lever. I want to lubricate the cable/mechanism. Has anyone got the instructions on how to do this.

Also, when pushing on the pedal to set the handbrake it used to make a clicking sound which has no disappeared? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Jay

M6 Cab - prior to that, SL63 AMG, A-M V8 Vantage, SL55, SL500 and many more
can't help with the lubrication, but I understand the click is just that - a plastic thing to make a noise with no other practical function

Thanks. Any idea of how to get that click back?

needs a new plastic clip, only a couple of quid from main dealer, you will also need the plastic pin that fixes the clip to the break pedal..easy to replace but a bit awkward to reach
