hello, ppl i am new here and i think i have the oldest merc too... a 1966 200 Fintail in powder blue, column shift, factory fitted BEHR air con. bought new by my dad in 1967, i will start posting pics of our cars soon..i am just 5 minutes old in this forum!

One of the problems people don't realise with older cars, is that the fitting of seat belts was an afterthought. For example, I find the seat belt uncomfortable in my car, partly because its a pillarless coupé and the shoulder point is low, and far back. I think they gave it a bit more thought in the W123 coupés. I wish I didn't have to wear it..... I guess in a 1966 car it has static 3 point belts?
