recently did a software update on my tomtom. used it for the first time today since, and i noticed it keeps losing its signal. never had this problem before. has anyone else had this problem? how was it remedied?

It could be to do with the GPS and baud rates etc. Search on google and it should give your full settings for your model and its settings which will need to be readjusted accordance with the new update

tomtom recomend you do a full system wipe and restore the data again
