Tow bar for 2015 E350 AMG Coupe

Hello all...

I want to fit a tow bar to my car but have be advised by numerous firms that there isn't a way to fit one to this particular vehicle due to the setup of the rear bumper/air dam.

Has anyone any experience of this....?

IIRC the coupe isnt type approved for towing so a tow bar can't be fitted without voiding your insurance, best to acutely double check the weight stamps on the B pillar, if it's type approved for towing then the weight restrictions will be listed there, if nothing on it then as I say not type approved.

I've got a 2011 E220 saloon and that isn't rated for a towbar either. On the plate in the drivers door, there is no towing allowance, just a row of dashes.

We have their removable unit on our estate - very good it is too.
