All the stuff about Corbyn is probably true - BUT you wouldn't be feeling angry if Mrs Mayhem had not called a stupid election on a false premise of "needing a mandate" which she already had. Quite frankly she and her advisers (who are presumably redundant now!) got what they deserved. Lemon can be quite sour!

Today she said the country needs a period of stability which only the Tories can provide...
- If she really meant that she wouldn't have called the snap election.

Anyway, she's been to the palace so now it's up to the DUP to decide if they will join her (and on what terms, of course).
- How long do think before she'll be out of a job?
The Tories always tear themselves apart and now they are going further right and cosying up to the only other party that will have them, the DUP who love a bit of paramilitary and the jackboot. Still, maybe Sinn Fein will vote against them if they can find their old balaclavas?

Sinn Fein do not take their seats in westminster, so basically useless, Mayhem will be in charge until the Tories can find a way round her. Imagine how good she is at making crap decisions. We all have been saved by this election. she wont be negotiating on our behalf..
Actually I can see the conservatives looking towards UntRuth Davidson to take over from Disaster Mayhem.

Yes she will. Where do you get the idea she will not take charge of the Brexit negotiations?

You believe she will be ousted before June 19th?

I said at the beginning that despite all her arrogant wriggling we would get we are given. Sadly she is so weakened now that my opinion is reinforced. Funny... I haven't seen many forum members insisting she should go the way people said Corbyn should go.

The real problem however, as I've posted on other threads is that no Tory MP at present would volunteer for the job - it's too much of a poisoned chalice.

Frankly with all the EU comments such as "another own goal" etc I think we are already a laughing stock. So I wouldn't be surprised to see it all come tumbling down in the next few days - if that happens the EU will simply be told they will have to wait.

I actually do think she should go. But the problem is who would replace her? Boris? Hammond? Davidson?

The cynic in me wonders if this is all some masterplan by the Tories to ‘gently coerce’ the public into accepting another EU In/Out vote. But then I have to slap myself and remember they’re not that clever.....

The other problem is, who would want the job? Damned if you do and don't, for anyone. Total poisoned chalice.

Fallon? He's been around long enough, maybe best of a bad choice!

Bojo might just be conceited and loony enough:eek::D

But he isn't stupid. And taking over right now- as opposed to, say, in 3 mth- needs a fall guy.

That's the whole problem - they certainly are not.

Like many problems we're back to square one - politicians got us into a messy situation (sorry to bore but they signed the treaties and none (apart from Maggie) did anything about the problems) and now we expect politicians to get a solution.

I think behind the scenes, she's been persuaded to stay because they know nobody will willingly take the job - it seems even Bumbling Boris isn't that much of a fool. She was probably advised by the same tw**s that advised her to go for an election (they'll be getting knighted or given a peerage soon).

Well we have triggered the exit so now we get on with it, nothing to stop us going right back in if the country votes for it, the pro remain parties did badly so we move on.

The ego's are still bouncing round but if you were assembling your national team wouldn't you look across party lines for some big hitters even ex politicians or business people from both pro and remain sides ?

At the moment David Davis leads our team and May is just a figurehead wheeled in to sign things and shake hands.

As I have always said I would park Farage in my "dream team" he has spent years in Euro La La Land.
I would also wheel in some ultra Europhiles to use their experience of navigating around the place and to keep the back-stabbers in front of me.

His only experience of EU LA La land as you put it is of doing nothing except claim his considerable expense - just look at his disgraceful lack of voting it's a public record.

Anyway he would probably simply say 'Were going, goodbye' and come away with sweet FA.

Amber Rudd
I suspect she too, is too intelligent.

It's a real quandry... I presume you mean in a party election for PM?
- I have no doubt they want rid but they're far too short of "volunteers"

So I was wondering who might be conceited enough to have a go (NB really thinking they would survive or don't care) ?

BoJo : Don't think so. Unless she resigns. + for him: he could immediately fire Gove but what about the Brexit result?
Gove : Maybe but I don't think he would be elected
Rees-Mogg : Another faint maybe
Hammond : Maybe
Kenneth Clarke : Maybe - tried to be elected and failed. Can do sums - was quite good as Chancellor.

He isn't stupid just brainless like Dianne Abbot, when he gets behind a microphone.
This intelligent, public school educated, witty and flamboyant MP who could be our PM..
