The Tories always tear themselves apart and now they are going further right and cosying up to the only other party that will have them, the DUP who love a bit of paramilitary and the jackboot. Still, maybe Sinn Fein will vote against them if they can find their old balaclavas? All the stuff about Corbyn is probably true - BUT you wouldn't be feeling angry if Mrs Mayhem had not called a stupid election on a false premise of "needing a mandate" which she already had. Quite frankly she and her advisers (who are presumably redundant now!) got what they deserved. Lemon can be quite sour!
Today she said the country needs a period of stability which only the Tories can provide...
- If she really meant that she wouldn't have called the snap election.
Anyway, she's been to the palace so now it's up to the DUP to decide if they will join her (and on what terms, of course).
- How long do think before she'll be out of a job?
We all have been saved by this election. she wont be negotiating on our behalf..
I said at the beginning that despite all her arrogant wriggling we would get we are given. Sadly she is so weakened now that my opinion is reinforced. Funny... I haven't seen many forum members insisting she should go the way people said Corbyn should go.
The real problem however, as I've posted on other threads is that no Tory MP at present would volunteer for the job - it's too much of a poisoned chalice.
Frankly with all the EU comments such as "another own goal" etc I think we are already a laughing stock. So I wouldn't be surprised to see it all come tumbling down in the next few days - if that happens the EU will simply be told they will have to wait.
Bojo might just be conceited and loony enoughThe other problem is, who would want the job? Damned if you do and don't, for anyone. Total poisoned chalice.
Fallon? He's been around long enough, maybe best of a bad choice!I actually do think she should go. But the problem is who would replace her? Boris? Hammond? Davidson?
The cynic in me wonders if this is all some masterplan by the Tories to ‘gently coerce’ the public into accepting another EU In/Out vote. But then I have to slap myself and remember they’re not that clever.....

I suspect she too, is too intelligent.Amber Rudd
He isn't stupid just brainless like Dianne Abbot, when he gets behind a microphone. But he isn't stupid. And taking over right now- as opposed to, say, in 3 mth- needs a fall guy.
