That does look like an X-Pipe in the parts diagram. Its a long way back compared to most though!

When viewed in real life it isn't really like an X it is sort of fat...like it has something inside.

Yup. X pipes tend to look... X-ey.

This is the same answer as on the noise thread.

I had my X pipe fitted today, all done for £250 including some new pipe work.

I am so grateful to members helping me on this one, that X box is gust very nice to have.

Today I was given a guide price of £1,200 incl remap and X pipe - seems too expensive in comparison

Remap, £250-300. X pipe, same. You're being charged double with perhaps knobs on.
