Hello everyone,

I have some errors on my car, one is with the right turbo(mechanical works well but electrical parts does not move the valve) and the EGR valves works well(both) but the electrical parts does not move the mechanical valve. At the turbo I have open the electrical box and seems to look fine(no oxide, no burned parts and the motor works). The engine does not run more than 3500rpm in P and when I drive it on the roads, in every gear does not run more than 1800-2000rpm, even when I push the pedal to the top(kick down). If I push up to kick down and I keep it there for some seconds, the EPC light appears. Does anyone can help me? One mechanic said to me it is the problem with the vacuum system.

Many thanks in advance,
CristiRO

Check all the pipes going to and from the turbos for leaks or splits. Are you getting black smoke on acceleration?
The engine is designed not to rev highly in Park.
It sounds like you need to find an independant MB techto read your fault codes and diagnose the problem.
I'm not too familiar with diesels so can't really suggest any more.

Hello AMGeed,

I don't have any black smoke. The errors are: P2024(Y27/9 and Y27/10) and P2027 Y100/1.

Thank you,
CristiRO

Yes those both are EGR faults.
I think you need an indy.

Where is your location so someone can perhaps suggest somewhere to take it for inspection?
The main dealer will be expensive for diagnostics.
