hi all,

I’ve just bought a w221 s320L with 20inch Amg wheels on, I’m wondering what pressure the tyres should be?

255/35/20

Thanks

I am sure someone will be along shortly with precise recommendations, in the meantime have you checked the inside of your fuel filler cap as most have the tyre pressure recommendations printed there....

As per above the pressures are inside the fuel filler cap along with a list of wheel / tyre combinations

Used to have a C63...
That's your starting point.

Recommended for my C63 on 19" was 44psi when lightly loaded - turned the tyres in to rocks!

I reduced that down to 34-35 on the front and 32-34 on the rear - far better ride, less floaty handling, very even tyre wear and decent tyre life.

I don't know if tyre pressure is different for smaller wheels , but both my cars winter or summer wheels I'm 31-32 alround which works well for the last few years

In comparison to the op's 20" wheels , I'm rocking summer 17's and winter 16's . That's how I roll buddy :D

Lol for some reason I read your post as intimating your wheels were larger but can see it can be read either way now..

I roll on 17's and the recommended psi is 33 or 2.3 bar. I was running on 2.6 bar so softening down gives more suppleness and feels better through the corners.

I think that must be for original fitment... Guessing your 20s are aftermarket?

I've run all my car (bar the 63) for the last several years at 32 and it's worked well for me.

Says on the filler cap 20” I guess they’ve been on there since original purchase.
