Urgently looking for a W140 S500 in Black or Blue

Hello All,

My current W140 was taken away by the insurance company as some silly young girl smashed her car into it. Despite my protestations the insurance company declared it a Cat B since it took a bad knock on the central pillar. So, I've lost my W140. Her insurance paid out the "market value" of my car but it's no consolation in losing my W140.

So, I am now looking for another W140. I am looking for an S500 in Obsidian Black or dark Blue, post 1996 model. My budget is 3-5K depending on the condition of the car, history, and spec. I am willing to travel nationwide if need be.

So, if any of you esteemed gentlemen are thinking about selling your S500 or if you happen to know anyone who is thinking of selling then I would be most grateful for your assistance.

Needless to say, I am looking daily on ebay, autotrader, gumtree and the classic car websites.

Yes indeed, they are a pleasure to drive, but they are becoming very rare now, so I just hope a I find a nice one!
