Just a word of warning, I think I recall someone having their car steam cleaned or excessivle wetted internally and then found their sophisticated electronic systems went all to pot. Granted it was on a much newer vehicle - I think it was an SLK that got wet around the auto selector.

So get someone experienced with the marque !
