My Vito Sport X insurance is up next month and my insurer kindly increased the premium from £340 to £380 because I hadn't claimed or otherwise been silly.
Straight on to a comparison site and the lowest quote was £250 fully comp with 17 yr NCB for myself and my wife as named drivers.
For a laugh I then asked for a quote adding my 18yo son. £3900.....
I just went for the £250 with no frills. I have no intention of claiming (famous last words).
What I don't get is why existing insurers buy new business and try and make it back with existing customers. It's not like the comparison sites are hard to use.
