Vito spare wheel

Hi all
I have a 2010 vito compact sport with seats in the back and a spare wheel floating around in the back does anyone know if I can put the spare underneath there is no carrier fitted though

Apparently there isn't enough space behind the rear axle,
which is why you have it inside
